From Data Access to Delegation: Reinventing Healthcare with AI
Patrick Manns described Philips’ healthcare AI strategy as augmenting clinicians, not replacing them: machine learning accelerates MRI image creation by 50%, enabling more than 30% more patients with the same staff and equipment. He argued scale requires co-creation with clinicians, human-in-the-loop medical decisions, interoperable data, and evidence such as the Future Health Index finding that 50% of clinicians say AI helps them see more patients daily.
Beyond the Token Race
Arvind Jain argued that enterprise AI value depends less on using the largest models and more on connecting models to company context, tacit knowledge, and measurable work. He said “token maxing” has become a cost problem, with enterprises needing budgets, guardrails, and smarter routing between frontier, open-source, and smaller models.
Beyond the Pilot: Making AI Agents Work at Scale
Prosus described how it encouraged 40,000 employees to build agents, yielding about 60,000 agents, 24,000 used continuously, and roughly 500 that “pay the bill” for the rest. The panel emphasized measuring ROI, doubling down on high-value agents, and using a portfolio of custom, distilled models with Nebius infrastructure to cut agent interaction costs by 90% ahead of projected 20x token growth.
